When the night is falling, my tent is up and I watch the day transform into darkness, there is nothing better than lighting my camping stove and enjoying a great meal after a long day of travel.
During my previous trip I brought an Omnifuel. A stove that served me without failure for the whole trip (11 months). Its a stove from Primus. Some people say its too loud, it’s not. The screaming flame is a reassuring growl from a beast that swallows everything from gas bottles, white gas, Petrol to the dirtiest kerosene you can find in all of Central Asia.
For my upcoming trip around the world Primus has given me the latest equipment they have to let me test it during heavy use in remote areas. I am very excited and glad that Primus has chosen to help me on my journey. Below are just a few of the products they have asked me to try out.
A really exciting enhancement of the earlier version that I brought along on the last trip. Same concept, a multifuel kitchen only its made in Titanium and therefor, weighs a lot less. See product.
Specially design cooking pots with great packing size and efficiency. My first impression this far is that the packing size is extremely clever and Primus has surely done a great job in utilising the space. Every pot has a colander built in in the lid which is perfect for me who makes pasta at least once a day. See product.
If you are curious and want to know more about the stove and the accessories primus have equipped me with make sure to stay tuned this autumn when my trip starts. I will post reviews of my equipment as the trip goes on.
